just read a newest consumer satisfaction report 2008, Orsini has been black listed as unsafe and worse staff properties.
My bad experience and my friend's worst experiences gave future renters lots of reference.
We filed few complains to the state consumer affair.
the previous post was very right...Orsini...if you are living there, just leave sooner is possible (i rather to pay break contract charge); if you don't live there, you are lucky.
just delete it from your list...Don't let their fake smile to fool ya....i hate there

I live at the Orsini on the seventh floor which overlooks all of downtown Los Angeles. I am from Newport Beach and am used to living in Luxury Apartments, and looking at downtown apartments was a huge culture shock. Everywhere seemed old, used, poorly managed and overly expensive for what you get -- until I found the Orsini. Once you come here you will feel like you can finally take a breath of fresh air (definitely the only place downtown where that is possible). You feel like you're at a tropical resort where first class staff is available to assist you. The previous post is completely innacurate - they have the friendliest certified security guards, and cameras all over the building that are monitored 24-7. Furthermore, the staff is always available, from the concierge, to the manager, Nelson. He is the frendliest and most helpful person I have ever met. He even gave my roommate and I his cellphone number in case we ever had an emergency and needed to reach him immediately. The Orsini is home to many celebrities - do you really think they would move somewhere that wasn't 110% safe and first class? It's not Nelson's fault you aren't a "chick with a hot buddy" (p.s. learn to spell body correctly, before you pretend to have an intelligent opinion) .. you should try using the gorgeous gym he provides, complete with TV's, Yoga instructors, and body sculpting aerobics. I would not be able to live downtown if it wasn't for the Orsini. I love it here, and even my friends who come to visit me from luxurious West Hollywood apartments are jealous and impressed. Clearly, the previous post was written from an envious staff member at some lowly apartment building.
