Save yourself the headache

I moved in here a few months ago and I can't wait for my lease to expire. This building is perpetually under construction no matter how often the management says we're getting cool new shops. Management makes a lot of empty promises. There's never enough parking and the "valets" have damaged many cars. Even though they built a fancy new dog run, there is still dog poop in the halls and stairwells. And for some reason, a number of residents think it's ok to play loud music and get drunk on the roof. They spill beer and break glass and the noise comes in my apartment from the lightwell. And don't get me started on the neughborhood. The homeless and panhandlers are everywhere, some are quite aggressive. The security inside the building is often no help, leaving the front door wide open for anybody to enter. I've caught them sleeping on the job several times! Building management informs me that "there are no promises of the building being secure, the sercurity staff is only provided as a courtesy." This place could be really cool, but unfortunately, poor management and unruly tenants make is an unpleasant place to live.
