Palazzo at Park La Brea
< | >
I have lived here since the building opened in 2003 and am glad to be getting out. The amentites are great. However, the price is absurd. After living here for 2 years myself and other residents have recieved letters that our rent will be increased almost 600 dollars a month, from the already ridiculous price we were already paying. Needless to say, many of us are moving out. This building has no loyalty for residents and the apartments are cheap. Lineoleum floors, cheap berber carpeting, light fixtures that break reguarly, noise from your upstairs neighbors, a leaking parking garage.... it's a good thing maintenace is so good here, because things fall apart daily. Tons of dogs, dogs in the pool...
For 2500 a month for a 1 bedroom apartment, the things that are a problem here shouldn't even be an issue and the apartment quality should be much better.
I would recommend looking at the Legacy in Westwood like someone else suggested or the Marlowe in Hancock Park... better quality for your money.

$2500 for a one bedroom that sucks like that. That's outrageous.
