WARNING: The PALAZZO WEST and EAST at Park Labrea. DO NOT MOVE HERE! !This complex will lure you in with a nice landscaping and friendly staff and even a pool boy! but beware once you move in! This is the NOISIEST place I've ever lived. The ceilings are THIN and all you hear is POUNDING and walking above you! You hear the neighbors above AND below, front doors closing/slamming all day. You actually think it's your own door opening and closing but it's the neighbors! If you happen to be anywhere near the pool, from sun up to sundown all you will hear are KIDS SCREAMING ALL DAY LONG! You are forced to keep your doors and windows CLOSED ALL DAY, and that's not even enough! The apts. vibrate and SHAKE from people and workers walking in the halls. It feels like an earthquake is starting. VERY POOR CONSTRUCTION. 3rd street is so noisy with busses, ambulances, fire trucks and horns that you will go CRAZY! You also have to share the elevators with the cleaning and maintenence staff and movers. Sometimes it takes FOREVER get an elevator because it's filled with workers/movers etc. They should have had another service elevator. THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF and all they spend money on is the lobby and landscaping to give you the impression of luxury while youre signing your lease. The cabinets are BEAT! They are faded and peeling. The shower doors are flimsy and CHEAP. The refigerator they provide/charge for is too big for the space and it blocks access to some of the kitchen cabinets. Also if you heave to enter on the street next to KMART for bldg 3&4, it is awful! The wait when leaving at the traffic light is grueling due to pedestrians crossing to the grove and people coming in&out of the KMart shopping center. It takes FOREVER, you miss the light every time. THIS IS THE NOISIEST AND POOREST CONSTRUCTION BUILDING THAT I HAVE EVER LIVED! IT IS A SCAM! The ONLY good reviews on here are from AIMCO/Palazzo employees. DONT BELIEVE ANY OF THEM!"
