I've lived here for more than three years. Here are the benefits and disadvantages of the Palm Royale Apartments:
Benefits: 1. The management staff is excellent. Office hours are 9a-6p (with a lunch break) seven days a week. The staff is friendly and helpful. Phone calls are returned promptly, and repairs are done as soon as possible. 2. The grounds are pleasant and well-maintained. 3. There is an outdoor pool, hot tub, meeting room, and gym available. 4. The complex is located near an excellent public elementary school, Clover Avenue (I think that's the name of the school). 5. The complex is within easy walking distance of Trader Joe's, Albertsons, Longs Drugs; relatively easy walking distance of Vons, Sav-On, and other stores; and a short distance away (but still a walkable distance if necessary) from Ralphs, Big Lots, Rite-Aid.
Disadvantages: 1. The rent is expensive. 2. The apartments are small. 3. The air quality may or may not be negatively affected by all the traffic on Sepulveda.
If you're willing to spend a lot of money for convenience and service, and don't have too many belongings, this is the place for you.
