I live in Park La Brea and their security is a joke. Stolen belongings, cars broken into, gate houses with rude and poorly skilled personel. A JOKE!

By the way... it's not hard to spot the reviews done by their own management team. They are even clueless on how to even disguise a review as if it was done by regular tenants. So that adds to their marketing/management people. Shame on you!

See. I didn't write this one. There are more people out there that know the truth. It really is not hard to spot PLB mgmnt here. One common way, they never post on weekends. They only post during the work week. I am sure they will try and change that now but they can't keep it up. If you are trying to use this site to know the truth, just read as many of the postings here and you will see a pattern. You will realize how much they really post here. Their score is probably inflated more than twice what it should be. |

my car window was smashed, most likely in broad daylight. i suspect it was one of the plb cleaning crews because even the animals i live with as "neighbors" arent that crass. Security filled out a "report" but declined to ask any questions of the neighbors or find out whether there was a cable installation truck or visitor in the area that day. Basically, im not sure why we have security. Most of them are not too bright, and they probably get paid little; i fear their access to my apartment.
The gate house security is a joke. They'll let anyone in.
Security is good at one thing though. going to the local jack in the box and leaving the access gate propped open so they can get their lazy asses back through after lunching on burgers and shakes. Oh and giving unreasonable tickets.

I am looking for information on Park La Brea's security system, or lack thereof. If anyone has first hand knowledge about the representations PLB makes regarding their security system, and then knowledge on how in fact there pretty much is no security, please write antoinecross@gmail.com. thanks!
