Yeah. Right! Total advertisment here. But wait, if you act now you can also get this handsom set of steak knives. Imagine what it will be like when you need PLB management to fix something like your refridgerator and your food spoils before they get to it. They keep promising they will show up so you don't put your food in your neighbors freezer. Then a week later they will show up but your food is spoiled then. PLB Mgmnt says they have better service than any other apt complex but that is a lie. They are lucky if they are as good. Imagine how you will feel if you are three days late on your rent (because PLB probably lost it) and they put up a notice of eviction on your door for all your neighbors to see. This review sounds like a total advertisment. They didn't even try and hide it but I am sure you can figure that one out for yourself. They are probably just trying to jack up their rating again. Anyone reading these should realize that this rating is totally inflated. Just read and use your common sense. The rating should only be half. Just read the postings because the PLB mgmnt ads they put up here are obvious. Then you can get an idea of what the real score should be. Again, use your common sense. |

I don't. I've looked at alot of different reviews posted at different apartment buildings, and there is always a JRFrogman type of person that claims that the management is writing fake posts. I've been following this web site for a few months (I am a resident of Park Labrea) and have decided that this will be the last time I even come to it. Most of the posts are from people who for one reason or another are angry and are retaliating, and the people that like it here are called liars by JRFrogman. I don't know what happened to you so many years ago JR, but it must have been really bad for you to keep this up for so long even after you have moved! I'm glad it makes you feel better. Anyway see ya later. signed Happy to be here. |

Oh by the way Mr. JRFrogman or should I call you JR Lucas. You're right, I do work in Marketing but as a marketing coordinator for a major movie company and not for Park La Brea...I only write how I feel for one and only one reason...the TRUTH!!!

Geez. What's the big deal here? The whole point is for perspective tenants to get a well rounded view of an apt complex before moving in. I'm looking at an apt here, and most folks realize no place is perfect, but still want to know what they're getting themselves into. There will be good reviews and bad ones. If there was nothing to complain about, there'd be no bad reviews. Who the heck follows reviews on one complex for months anyways? That sounds a little suspect to me. And why are people who aren't on the payroll being so defensive?? That also sounds suspect. I don't know...

I'm a former resident of Park La Brea and am writing about this Web site for the Los Angeles Daily News. I'd love to talk. Give me a call at 310-841-2402.

Hmmm it is possible to have several different opinions on Park la Brea after all there are several different apartment types to live in. I have lived in the worst (garden apartment) and moved to the best (towers). In my opinion the grounds are quite nice. The staff horribly unorganized, and apartments unsanitary! I can only imagine the staff of Park La Brea regularly frequents this site to keep the ratings up, of course they would when they have something to hide.
I also think the people writing anonymously are still living in the apartments waiting for their lease to be over! Why chance a random unexplained "eviction" for freedom of speech! PLB is that unorganized they would conveniently evict for someone by mixing up files.

this post was so incoherent to seem suspiciously like a retard posted it. so... it could be plb management.
hey daily news guy, you can email me on gmail (realPLBresident) or visit my website! lucky you!

Elimi raises a good point: why would anyone waste their time posting on such a site more than once? Well my guess is that they are outraged by their complex's service level and want to warn others away from it. Or they are management trying to inflate their scores.
What really pissed me off is to see this site: the plb management (from top to bottom) is so inept at serving the residents, yet they have time to fake post on a apartment website?
unbelievable.
I for one am totally f** fed up with this place; the management and the jerks who live here. And im gonna tell everyone the truth about it. Thats my agenda.
I could care less if you believe me, but at least you'll have some good questions to ask the pinhead who gives you the fake tour and can make a more informed decision.

I like how every 'real tenant' who likes the place tells everyone else that they shouldn't rent here if they don't like it. Well guess what. There's this thing called a lease, and it usually lasts a year here.
I'm not posting anonymously to avoid eviction. I'm posting anonymously so that I don't get even worse service. And no, I'm not so negative that I believe that worse isn't possible. I just expect better for what I'm paying.
