I'm conducting an investigation into the false representations Park La Brea makes to tenants prior to them signing the lease, relating to the security. Specifically, the fact that it is a controlled gatehouse entry system, where no guests can enter without the tenants' prior permission....... and then once the tenant signs the lease, the tenant may later realize that these representations were false, as Park La Brea is not as secure as the staff lead them to believe. I am also looking to speak with someone regarding their experiences with this, and also regarding information on how the manned gatehouses permit guests to enter through the resident gates.

I'm going to email you. I've lived at PLB for 9 years. They made that claim as well as several other claims that they didn't follow through on, and stole $ from me.

I would not contact anyone from this site directly. I don't trust anyone on this site because PLB uses really underhanded techniques. I would not put it past them to hire someone to track every one on this site that has bad info on them. Check out the forum, if you want a dialog, I will be posting in there. If you are really trying to put an end to all the PLB misrepresentations, I don't think you can. That is why we come here. PLB has all kinds of legal protection and I would not go near them in court ever. They are nasty people. If you want current stuff to use in court, just go talk to the people living there or send a bunch of spam to all the people living there. believe me you will get a response. I am not sure you will get anything that you can use in court though. You would have a better chance at getting some usefull info if you spam the current residents. you may then be able to catch some of the drama as it happens. you will have better luck at documenting that. All the stuff that i know about is what happened when I was there. I didn't do anything to document it because I never thought that i would take PLB to court. Who in there right mind would do that? The Crack Addict falling out the window should have been documented by the police. They showed up after the fact but the two addicts were long gone by then. I don't think they ever came back after that night. That was on an Aug 22 but not sure of the year, 2002 or 2001. That should be documented. All you need to do is a little research and you don't need me for that one. I am not sure anymore what year the motorcycle was stolen or if the police documented that one. The guy that put up the flyers seemed to imply that PLB was blocking his efforts with the police to investigate the theft. I did not talk with him directly but I did hear rumors about the rest of his story. that is where I heard other residents theories about the PLB Security being the culprit. There is lots of new drama here every year. Just get to know people currently living at PLB and you will get all you need. Just spend a few weekends at the coffee shop chatting. In your spam, ask to talk with people that are leaving PLB so that you can document their exit. After tracking a few people, I am sure you will find what you are looking for.
