Maintenance is incompetent

They may come promptly, but if they say they have to leave to get a tool or something they will not come back. And if they do stay, the odds are they will not fix your problem correctly the first time. I live in a garden apartment and have had leaks since 2003, broken faucets, doorknobs, sinks and maintenance is incapable of fixing things the first time. When you call maintenance, the ladies who take the calls are very rude.

I lived in PLB for about 10 years, I finally moved recently because something crazy was going on with management. Take for instance, I was in the office one day and I heard someone yelling and screaming using the "F" word from the area where the managers offices are located. I later called and asked someone who works there who was yelling, my contact said it was the GM, Chris Scroggin. I asked if he always screams like that and my contact said "yes" and everyone is afraid of him. I asked why they don't complain to the owners or take legal action my contact said that they don't dare complain because no one really cares! I put in my notice and left soon after! Another instance is before I moved out I got the feeling that something was up when good managers all of a sudden were leaving. One of the managers was the Patrol Manager, he was a good hard working man and then one day he was gone. When I asked my contact what happened they said that the GM, Chris Scroggin fired him to prove a point. I guess the point is that hardworking, caring managers are not long for PLB!. Since I've moved I've heard from friends that the security company Platt is no longer there and the Operations Manager Petersen is gone. WHAT IS GOING ON??? I'm glad to be out and feel sorry for the rest of you who still must suffer under the thumb of a tyrant!!!
