When I spoke with the leasing agent he had me fill out a form for an 11 month extension so I would not have to pay for a month of rent that I did not need. Now Park La Brea is claiming that form was only for a move out date. Thats convenient. They can have me pay for a month of rent that I am not using AND release it out to somebody else. Beware the dishonest leasing agent. They only want their commission. Nothing more.
On the hole, its an ok place. Water temperature is impossible to control. Sometimes its super cold and then the next thing you know it is scalding hot. Air conditioning doesn't work well. Walls are thin but in a town home there are only two neighbors. Parking is a joke. I had to pay for a spot even though I am not near the towers. The parking guard would harass my girlfriend when she tried to visit me. Pool is under construction which is noisy and annoying but is supposed to be done some time in the next 12 months.

I was one of those tenants that got sued $12,000 by a fake law firm on my way out of that hell hole for no reason. CAUTION, Park La Brea staff members are evil BEASTS!
