Their pet policy is a big scam. They charge 100$ on top of their already over-priced (for no good reason) apts. Once you sign the lease, you are trapped. A lot of people around here don't like dogs so if they decide to just make a false complaint, you as a pet owner; have no say/right in the matter. The management are EXTREMELY rude. Once the lease is signed, their "service and politeness" goes right out the door. They don t even listen to your concerns let alone do something about it. This is all on top of their other problems: screaming kids all the time, drunks yelling at 2 in the morning, impossible parking after 7-8 pm, trash collection problems, extra fees for EVERTHING! I can t wait till my lease is over(2 more months to go) so I can get out of this hole. You have a lot more options for this price range.
Please read the reviews before you move into this place and save yourself a lot of headache!

Agreed - all of the above is true. My wife and I have lived at PLB for 4 1/2 years and are paying an extra $2,000.00 dollars just to leave this month. Like you say, if you have a pet (cats in our case) they make you pay extra. The security patrol there seriously borders on complete incompetency and is more of a visual deterrent than anything else. Add to that, that you're living in a constant construction zone. If it's not road work, closing off 6th street for a year, painting the towers, renovating the apartment next to you, then it's the dump trucks and the ubiquitous leaf blowers. So done with you PLB and I can't wait to live somewhere where I can get a little PEACE and QUIET!

Horrible cooking odors, unless you are Korean, it is best you stay away.
