Before I moved in here, I read these reviews. And I stupidly chalked it up to a few unhappy people. Please do not make my mistake!! This place is terrible, easily one of the worst complexes in LA. Everything is sold separately: the gym and pool require an extra fee, parking is extra, even water and trash are not included in your rent! This is the only place I've seen this.
The security patrol are the rudest people on earth, they could care less about helping you. They constantly messed up my reservation for a parking spot and just pointed fingers at everyone else, no one could take responsibility. And the gates that make it look safe' More than once I drove in the gate and looked in the guard house to see the guard sleeping with the gate just left wide open.
You will get random charges on your bill. Our first month there they charged us for parking spaces we didn't have. I emailed the accounting woman, left voicemails and finally went in. As I walked to her desk and told her my name she said "Oh, I just replied to your email." I glanced down at my Blackberry and told her nothing had come in. So she flat out lied to me.
Every other administrative manager and worker is just as bad. I actually had the leasing manager tell me that I was one of thousands and they didn't have time to deal with everyone! Really' You think that's ok to say to a client' They speak to you like you're 5 and retarded and have zero customer relations because, as the leasing manager made clear, they don't have to.
Do not live here. It will be the most frustrating lease period of your life. I could go on with horror stories, like the time my friend walked out of her shower to see a security guard standing in her bedroom, just staring at her, but I think I've made my point. It was the worst experience of my life and I am so glad to be out!

You're right on. I've lived here many years and the place is going down hill fast. I was just told it would be 2 weeks to get something fixed in my apt. They used to come the next day - but, they just laid off 20 maintenance people and it shows. All their money is going into putting new palm trees up around their new pool. Management could care less about residents. Its all about attracting new tenants. There's trash everywhere - and no grounds keepers to pick it up (they were laid off, too). Beware before you sign on the dotted line.

Wow. I submitted a review last year for a different irritation but reading your review was just like my experience when I first moved in. An additional $45 that I refused to pay until they could tell me what it was for-it took them 6 weeks to figure it out as well as terrible customer service from the management staff. I complained to the my leasing agent's supervisor and he was actually worse. And I don't know about you, but I love being talked to like I'm 5 and retarded. I seriously started to doubt myself, like I was making it hard on myself.

I don't know where to start with this place. Almost everything is wrong with it! From the rude and incompetent management, over-priced rent, lack of service, noise, trash collection, parking, lack of any concern for the residents,...I could fill up 10 pages just talking about my miserable experience within this past year here. I have lived in a lot of apartments but this one BY FAR, is the worst!
