The location is pretty central for LA - close to downtown, close proximity to hollywood / weho bars ($10 cab ride). It is also nice to be in a gated community. That is about all the positives there are to this place. The help you receive from the staff is horrible at best. When we attempted to remove/add people to our lease it took months before it actually occurred only after we sat down with the accounting manager and she took out the initial removal/additions paperwork did she find that they made a mistake (or the person entering the data was too lazy). You cannot simply go and talk to someone if you have a rental issue, you must make an appointment - which my roommate did during his lunch break and when he went to the offices, the person he made an appointment with wasn't there. There are always a million different forms to fill out any time you try to do something, but then after you've wasted an hour filling them out, the staff will most likely never fulfill your request anyway. As the rent prices have fallen, similar town homes to ours now go for $200 less per month. When we brought this to their attention, they said this wasn't true (even thought we pointed out that we have already seen similar apts for $2500).
Most recently, we have to waste time explaining why in the prior month we paid our rent in full. For some reason the accounting department decided that we paid $400 less in rent in the prior month... why we would do that when every month we write out a check for the same $2700 we have been doing for over a year now is beyond me. And now they want us to waste our time proving to them that we paid our bill in full because of their mistake.
Avoid this place like the plague unless you have the time to waste dealing with their beureaucracy.

I agree 00. Since I have lived here, I am more tense and stressed out, just waiting to see what they are gonna screw up next and then waste my time trying to fix it. This place is hell and the people running it are hell-appointed idiots. No customer service or anything else for that matter. The good news it, I am soon outa there. Yippeeeeee!

This is how I would describe PLB. Except I usually refer to PLB Mgmnt as a Three Stooges movie. This person was very kind in their description. They may not have lived here long. It is a very nice location but believe me when I say that PLB Mgmnt can wreck that view with their attitude, greed, and RETARDED reasoning. These people really are the bottom of the barrel. I think they have an IQ limbo contest to see who can work here. My advice to those who really want to live here: have as little contact with PLB Mgmnt as possible. PLB Mgmnt can make even the calmest person INSANE!
