I recently moved to a Garden apartment in Park La Brea. I have to say I couldn't be more pleased. Having a backyard and living in Los Angeles is wonderful and rare, and although it is shared with the other townhomes around me, it has given me a chance to get to know my new neighbors and truly feel like I am part of a community. The landscaping is gorgeous through out the property. The kitchen in my apartment is like new with granite counter tops and newer appliances, and the rent was a bargain for the area. Did I mention the location, I work downtown and I dont even need to get on a freeway to get to work, and having the Grove and Farmers Market across the street is fantastic! The staff in the leasing office paid close attention to my wants and needs in my new home and made the whole process of moving a breeze. I am extremely happy with my new home and plan to be here for a long time.

The economy is really THAT bad that you HAVE to work at PLB ? SAD. Get a real job. Have some respect for yourself. The place is a dump.

The staff seems very friendly until you have a real concern. Then they stop returning calls and it's nearly impossible to get a hold of them. Hopefully you will not have to deal with the insects or the robberies or the parking problems. But if you do, be warned: they will rarely be resolved to your satisfaction.

this post is the biggest lie on this website, thanks to the management team of course, don't insult our intelligence and try to trick more ppl into moving into this hole, you make me sick

How long have you been working there?

I guess the management finally had to respond after all the truth-telling on this site from tenants. This management company was clearly brought in to work the vacancy decontrol laws. Quick turnover means higher and higher rents and more and more profit for the owners. It's so sad that they are destroying what used to be one of the best places to live in LA. I lived there when the management was very tenant friendly and responsible about maintenance; then the building changed hands and the place went down hill very quickly. Too bad there isn't a way to stop irresponsible, greedy and dishonest people from owning rental housing and making tenants lives miserable. They should have some respect for the people who end up paying their mortgage and property taxes through rents. Especially these days. Seems like the renters should be able to deduct the property tax portion of the rent from their taxes.

Let us know what happens the first time you need maintenance to actually fix anything.

You're happy with it now... wait until they sue you for $12,000 or when your insect friends start moving in. FYI, you will get to know Karsaz & Associates law firm real well too after moving in PLB...trust me, they are the best scam artists I've ever met.

You are nothing more than a tout. You lie, you cheat, you misrepresent because you have no integrity and you have sold your souls! You think by giving this place full score takes away from the fact that it is a slum? All former tenants know this and soon enough all of LA will know it too and you will not be able to give the 4,000 plus units away!

Hi, PLEASE, everyone who has any issues to file the complaint with better business bureau. I think it would be great to have them know too! all it takes is copy & paste. Right now they have a B which is very good rating, is that right, do they deserve a B, http://www.la.bbb.org/BusinessReport.aspx?CompanyID=1310333 thanks. give Park La Brea, the well deserved karma smack!

This is the greatest place on the planet earth. All my problems went away when I moved here! I only had weeks to live, but PLB has given me a new lease on life! And the only thing left to say is...PLB management can I have a job on your staff! I'm an excellent lier and I'm not a people person! Screw the tenants! Do I get the job?
