I have lived at Park La Brea in my 2 bedroom Garden apartment for over two years now. I still love it - it's like a little house in a great neighborhood. The back courtyard provides a grassy yard area where my young son can run around with neighbor friends while we all are able to keep an eye on them. I have wonderful neighbors who I have become good friends with. I love that I can walk to the grocery store, the bank, etc. There are occasional maintenance issues, but they always get handled, and I don't have to do the work! I plan to stay here.

How long have you been working for Park La Brea ?

How desperate is the management at this dump? If and when you are going to make something up, read it to make sure it is grammatically correct. It does not take away from the fact that you, the staff, are incompetent; that the buildings are old, bug infested and overpriced and that many former residents will continue to rebut your lies with truths!

clearly written by management. why else would you write a review out of no where??? everyone know this place is a --------. management doesnt even return calls. when you make formal complaints, they dont get answered. many ongoing lawsuits to count-

PLB Management continues to bill charges such as 'Fencing and gating' to recover their poor mistakes on improving the property. Residents there are being overcharged for parking and being forced to pay for parking. Spaces are being assigned to vistors (even though they are not being used), as the management thinks, residents will have to pay for a parking space, should they need one. Other expenses are somehow showing up on the monthly billing, and it is not until you move in they tell you of all 'the wonderful perks, that you have to pay for', even though you do not use them. Most places provide you at least 1 parking space, if you are a renter. And if you get a "PARKING TICKET" on the property, then you are really in for a surprise !! Also, make sure when you sign the rental agreement, they provide a list of the services, you will be billed, otherwise you could be in for a surprise. Most renters living there are being 'Nickled and Dimed to Death' and don't have a way to complaing or resolve these matters. The management takes days and prefer to work by "e-mail", even if you don't have one. Good luck on them calling you back promptly, as they won't. Don't let the "Leasing Agents" take you for a SUCKER !!

Suspicious!??? I agree with you all--Management wrote this review or drank the WACO coolaid. I know many garden tenants, including myself and we can not pack quick enough to get out of here! But if you are so content on living here then you must like living with: with RATS, yes I mean 8-9" inches BODY Long, tail it will be 15", picking up their droppings, throwing out your food, using your dishwasher that smells like the sewer to wash all your stuff over and over again! You basically can not touch anything in your kitchen! MOLD & MILDEW, 1 1/2 years, because of 2 bathroom ceiling leaks bathroom/kitchen clogs water is brown, odor of rotten eggs and sewage your kitchen smelling like a sewer pipes are always near your kitch good luck on finding a parking spot at night, you will be circling for a minimum of 20 minutes if you pay for a parking space on top of your rent, and if you don't park in that parking spot that you paid, and you park somewhere at PLB, rest assured you will be ticketed every single time after 5 PM. Ridiculous or It makes so much sense! Why didn't I think of that, silly me!!! PIECE DE RESISTANCE, dealing with the arrogant PLB management, especially the head honcho... who think their it's all your fault and they did no wrong, I understand why some one could go postal. believe me, I've lived in NYC HELLS KITCHEN, for 20 years, that was heaven compare to this, you might as well set yourself on fire and go directly to hell, or you wish you did! You've been warned, I did my deed I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE TO BE WRONG!!!! P.S. I wish my Rat dropping pics would be dramatic to post... Hi, PLEASE, everyone who has any issues to file the complaint with better business bureau. I think it would be great to have them know too! all it takes is copy & paste. Right now they have a B which is very good rating, is that right, do they deserve a B, http://www.la.bbb.org/BusinessReport.aspx?CompanyID=1310333 thanks. give Park La Brea, the well deserved karma smack!
