After reading some of these negative reviews, I was somewhat hesitant upon moving in. I didn't want to sign a lease and be stuck in a dump, like some of these reviews claim it is! For the price and the apartment itself, I couldn't say no! It's worth a try, at least! So, I moved into a garden apartment, located a little more in the complex.

With so many people living in the community, I was worried it may be noisy! You can hear a pin drop, it is so quiet!

Everything works and acts like its brand new! The appliances were all new and work great. I can't complain!

I love the convenience to 3rd Street and all the shopping! It's perfect - The Grove has everything you need...

You need to take into consideration the amount of people who live here. Obviously, there are going to be some people who complain, or find a reason to. But they are far and few between. All the neighbors in my area enjoy living here. I guess it depends who moves in around you. That can make some people bitter if they live near a noisy person!

My suggestion, if you plan or thinking about leasing, is check on where the apartment is in location to everything. Make sure you aren't near the gate or on the street. You don't wanna risk being in a traffic area.

Also, they will show you a sample apartment, but make sure - before you sign the lease - you go take a walk to the tower/garden apartment you may be leasing and hang around for awhile. You want to make sure that everything seems normal.

Wanted to clear up that I am NO WAY an employee of PLB. The PLB haters can hate on my review, but its only natural if they have a problem with the place on their individual situation!

Ok, the sad fact is that PLB employees post here all the time. So it is hard to distinguish when a good review is for real or just more PLB Mgmnt sales stuff. Usually, when a review does not have any of the common problems associated with PLB, everyone assumes it is a fake post by PLB Mgmnt to boink the ratings meter. They do it shamelessly. I imagine there are people that really do like PLB but when they say that none of the common problems for this place exist and it is a lie made up by all the PLB haters, it gets people upset. We know the truth. That will not change until PLB Mgmnt starts to make an effort to clean up their act. Until then, this place generally sucks. It sucks in a nice area but it still sucks. Thanks to PLB Mgmnt, it SUCKS!!!! Oh yeah, how were we supposed to contact you outside of this site?????????

ha ha ha... you JUST moved in?? of course you have the credibility to recommend this place (pfff). there is no way any person in their right mind would give PLB these scores. I definitely know you are an employee of PLB because an honest person would not give such ratings nor have SO much to say. And by the way, the people that TOLERATE living here may not complain but they most definitely are not as complimentary as you. if you're going to lie, try to make is sound believable! Oh yeah, but I almost forgot, you employees aren't very smart to begin with. your review sounds like an ad to me. try and try again PLB employees/affiliates!

You mean contact the management because you work there? AND, why don't you just give us your honest perspective here and now?? Either PLB reduces your rent for you to post this review or you are their employee. If not, you just wait and see how horrific this place is. As a new tenant you have no business writing a review. Of course you would call us penny pinchers; you're trying to milk us for all we're worth with all your hidden fees! PLB Tenants should expect to pay their monthly rent and utilities plus $300 of hidden fees. you dam con artists!

ALSO - Some of you guys are penny pinchers! If you can't afford to live somewhere, then don't move there. Like, stop complaining you have to pay for a reserved parking spot and wait for one on the street! It seems like most peoples complaints are about their own financial situations haha

Good God what have you done in life that you are living in this hell. May God be with you! May you live well and the experiences you will have with your numerous room mates: RATS, ROACHES, MOLD, ASBESTOS, in addition to PEEPING TOMS, PARKING TICKETS, ABUSE, arrogance from the management. Best wishes but will always be a PLB_haters, I would not even recommend this project to people I hate. PLB a great place to live? Really? I wonder if the woman who jumped off Tower 50 yesterday and killed herself felt the same way. Or the teenager who did the same thing a few years ago. I doubt PLB management will use the slogan "Great Views for Taking the Final Dive" in their advertising.
