This apartment is in a convenient area--close to freeways, airport, etc. If you can get out of the garage. The "safe" underground parking (cars stolen repeatedly from neighbors), which is gated, leaves NO room for visitors' parking. Building itself can only be reached from parking by an underground elevator, which has a keyhole instead of elevator button. Once per week, someone would break their key in the keyhole...leaving a half-mile trek to the other side of the building. Could not get out of apartment complex without going through garage or setting off major alarm by going out emergency doors-gates. A trap in a quake. Apartment itself was adequate--water somewhat weak, many insects, but was clean & appliances all worked. A/C was on constantly due to stifling (no breeze) nature of apartments. And the neighborhood itself was very questionable--did not feel safe going to local grocery alone. Too much money for the style, and who wants to take literally 20 minutes to get to their car--that's IF the elevator works!'
