I've been living here for about 8 months now...& I'm not really sure what most of you guys are talking about but Ive never seen a roach in my apartment and parking isn't far. It does suck when I have groceries but it sure doesn't take me more than 5 minutes to get back and forth. I'm from New York and this is exactly what it's like. Sure you hear sirens but it's the city so it's expected. Management is okay they get work done quick and so far so good. I signed a 6 month lease and I'm going on 9 months... If I had a choice, I'd move in. Good Luck!

perhaps I exxagerated a bit on how many minutes it takes just as you exxagerate on how awful this place is... what i don't get is if you hate it so much why don't you move out?

UMMMMM.... people are so silly!! There are 2 (TWO) loading spaces RIGHT in front of the building to take groceries in your apartment. ALSO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Silly people; we have the COOLEST management here in the downtown area (JACKIE and ANNA), they will just open the gate for you to handle your business. You get what you pay for... So STOP!! acting like we are on the Westside in a $2,500 community. Please ya'll here for a reason. This place is very relaxed, cool and calm... =)

actually, the loading spaces are for passenger loading only and it's a 10 minute limit. the loading on the side is commercial only. we got a ticket. so... good luck with that one. i've gathered a car payments worth of parking tickets.

Guess what Bigger Apple... Only lasted there to the end of the lease... After we got tired of of having management coming into our place without proper advance notice and not closing up when finished. We hated that one year that we were there but the bright spot is that about a month and a half before the lease was up we found a REALLY COOL building with 6 units about TWO blocks from the beach with partial ocean view close to Restaurants/Bars/shopping and NO ALL NIGHT RAVES across the street and I now pay $250 Less and I have a bigger apartment with no problem parking! To all those people looking to move into this place, Look around and find that deal because there out there and not too hard to find. Tip: Look in the small local paper in the area that you are looking to move into.
