Don't live here

I was the first tenant to live in my apartment. It had a huge living room and looked nice, but the lighting was horrible. The apartment faced the atrium which no one could get into and rarely did we get any sunlight. The windows were sliding panes that never fully open. After a month or so living there, you begin to notice the low quality of the apartment. The walls are thin and the carpet cheap. The unit came with an Italian washer/dryer in one machine that ALWAYS broke and leaked all over floor. Even when it was working, (I kid you not) it took 8 hours to do a small load of laundry.
The staff wasn??t very helpful, and the promises of shops never arrived while I lived there. The ground floor spaces were always vacant. There??s a Daily Grill there now, but even that was delayed for a time. The fitness center took months to complete and was ok. One plus was that the roof had a great view of the city, especially at night. The Standard is across the street and that??s always fun.
Parking was the worst. Apparently, the owner of the building makes enough money selling parking at a premium to people who work in Downtown LA. For tenants, it cost $300 a month. There was a lot about a quarter of a mile away that sold it for $75 a month, but then the structure was sold and the prices went up. Rarely if any parking for guests.
On a final note, I would take the stares to exit either behind the building or on 6th and at times I would open the door to find a homeless person sleeping there or feces and urine. Not a pleasant way to start the morning.
