Rent increase wasn't as bad as the previous poster made out. It went up $40. It would have been cheaper if I had not elected to go month to month. Still, I think all rent in LA is over priced for the properties. I'm in a two bed/two bath unit. I've been month to a month a year now, although I've requested a decrease and a possible annual re-sign if the conditions are right. I'm also looking for a new place, but it really doesn't seem like a lot of good, affordable choices.

Layout doesn't make the best use of space. One of the bathrooms are awkward to use. The living room/dining room seems backwards. The fireplace is a waste of space.

Cabinets, fixtures, etc are poor. Fridge is not included and the largest rental I could get to fit was a 14.4 cf. So add 25-30 per month if you plan on renting that.

It's noisy. If you are on the alley side, you get people racing down the alley. If you are on the street side, you get people racing there. Wherever you are, you can hear racing. If you are on the Centinela side, you also get the joy of the body shop's noise. Ironically, I think the tenants are generally quiet.

In addition to all the noise, there is lots of dust that is almost like soot. Keep your windows open at your own risk. Anything left on the patios will be covered in it.

Parking is tandem for the larger units, or single for the smaller ones. It's gated. Not much to say. Guests park on Jefferson or in the alley.

Mail carrier stuffs the boxes. Getting UPS or FedEx to be consistent is hard.

No elevator or other means to make moving in or grocery shopping very easy. Not a big deal unless carrying things.

4 Washer/3 Dryers on premises, but I'd rather have mine in unit. there are no unit hookups.

Convenient to a lot of things in Culver and Marina Del Rey, but nothing but a Starbucks, Campos, and Produce market in easy walking.

Full warning, the property owner has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau.
