Our rent increase wasn't as bad as the previous poster made out. It went from 1797 to 1839. It would have been cheaper if we had not elected to go month to month. Still, I think all rent in LA is over priced for the properties. We're in a two bed/two bath unit.
Layout doesn't make the best use of space.
It's noisy. If you are on the alley side, you get people racing down the alley. If you are on the street side, you get people racing there. Wherever you are, you can hear racing. If you are on the Centinela side, you also get the joy of the body shop's noise.
Parking is tandem for the larger units, or single for the smaller ones.
Mail carrier stuffs the boxes. Getting UPS or FedEx to be consistent is hard.
No elevator or other means to make moving in or grocery shopping very easy.
Convenient to a lot of things in Culver and Marina Del Rey.
