The fire alarms go off constantly, and last night was the last straw. I'm sick of being woken up in the middle of the night. I'm paying my lease termination option and getting out of here.

Community rules are not enforced, emergency maintenance number is disconnected and they're not in the office on stated days, no hot water for days at a time, broken dryers, broken gym equipment, obviously broken smoke alarms, people are always propping open doors so it's not very secure, some other tenants are very disrespectful, had packages stolen that UPS left outside my door. I got trapped in an elevator after hours, and the emergency call box doesn't work. If there is a plus side, I'd say it's the parking.

Yeah, fire alarms got annoying. They seemed to go in streaks though where there weren't any for a long time and then it would go off several times a day for a few days. They have an emergency contact number on the answering machine when you call the office now. I don't know if they changed the one displayed in the lobby or not, but you can get in contact with them if you call the office and write down that number. I only went without hot water for more than a day on two occasions, and both times it was only two or three days. I have seen the elevators stuck on quite a few occasions actually. Luckily I never got stuck in one myself. People do smoke in them though, even though there are about three signs bolted to the walls. Some idiot girl thought if she turned her back to me and hid in a corner I would't realize she was smoking. Speaking of that, a lot of the people in the building are smokers. People even smoke IN the pool (not by the pool... IN the pool). I think the only real community rules I haven't seen enforced though were the smoking in the pool area, the people walking on the roofs (though they did stick notes on everyone's door saying not to do that), and the not cleaning up after pets. I saw a lot of dog feces and urine in the elevators and hallways. Maintenance is EXCELLENT at cleaning it up very quickly, but if it happens after hours, you either have to take it into your own hands to clean up after someone's dog or walk around it until the next day.
