Awesome location with 24 hour Ralphs right next door, plus and amenities just a walk away.

Management in the office is super nice and helpfull; really cares about the atmosphere. The neighbors are impressively friendly. Maintenance personnel also very pleasant.

The only downside I'm aware of: it gets noisy in the pool on weekends.

The friendly neighbors totally depends on your location. It's a big building and some of the people are great and some are terrible. I wasn't so lucky. Management in the office is better lately (I recently moved out), but I had problems with the previous resident manager (lying about things and blaming his mistakes on others in the office). Location is awesome, but they do raise rent by 15 to 20% a year, so be prepared to either re-sign another one-year lease and have your rent go up by about $50 or have it go up by $120 or so for month-to-month every year. When I first moved in there was a terrible problem wiht cockroaches in the laundry rooms and trash rooms. For a few months there were even cockroaches crawling INSIDE the washing machines, but after that I hadn't seen even one of them anywhere in the building. There was also a big problem with people using the garbage can to prop open laundry room doors, and some of my clothes got stolen once (and I make sure to take them out promptly and don't just leave them in there for hours), but then they bolted the garbage can to the wall to prevent that.
