this place is TERRIBLE! The management is awful (to put it politely) and the place is falling down. With rent for a studio starting at $1650 you would expect a little more than no on site manager, no emergency maintenance, no one in the office during office hours, no upkeep etc. The manager is rude and if you go above her they are worse. There are a serious ant infestation in the building that they refuse to take care of, the pipes leak, the water comes out of the taps brown and the elevators break on a daily basis. I would def. look into moving into the cheaper, cleaner, better managed building across the street that has just as much character.

I've lived there for years, and while it's not perfect, it's not that bad...! Some things have improved (gate on the north parking lot, new steps into the rear entrance, better laundry room, elevator interiors spruced up), and some things are still a problem (minimal security, no visitor parking, moody elevators, ants that show up infrequently but in large numbers, old pipes and heating system), but hey, it's an old building with character, and the rent isn't cheap, but if you shop around in the area, it's not outrageous.

This is a real overpriced joint,, about 10 years ago the rents were 875 a month and the heat was turned on by one control and had old steam heaters ,, we always got stuck in the elevators,, no,, a real overpriced loser,, To bad mr ladicos died ,,, boo hoo

this building used to be owned by Mr ladacus who died..and the rents were 600 to 800 a month,, the place was rundown and looked like a flop house with mae west upstairs,, yo ho ho,, her face held up by wires,, lower the rents and you might have some tenants,, guess what... we're in a recession... and their is 96% vacancy on Larchmont,,, THE LARCHMONT lOFTS..are a disaster,,with rents 3 to 5 Grand for a box ,,so wait until they get it,,, lower the rents ,,, fools,,,
