I cant get around the fact that the hallways stink at this property. The garbage room always have bags of nasty garbage sitting in the room. Aparently the owner of said garbage was unwilling to use the garbage chute, or the chute was not working' The incident was reported to management many times and they did not seem to care. The garbage remained for days and the odors from the room were horrible. I even saw other residents complaining with written notes posted in the room pleading that the garbage be placed properly in the chute. It was no help. If you do not mind your guests having to walk down stinky hallways this may be a good option for you. Otherwise, I would recommend look elsewhere. g-hKOS7s4Nq5n3hEIpHd

It sounds like you are a tenant that got kicked out of the building for not paying rent or something. A 1 star rating really? Your main complaint is that other tenants weren't putting their garbage in the trash chute? I haven't really had an issue on my floor with other people not putting their garbage where it is supposed to be. There is only so much management can do. If your neighbors are dirty, mine definitely aren't, then tell them yourself! Take some responsibility. And pay your rent on time! It just pisses me off sometimes when people give bad ratings for the dumbest reasons. I mean seriously, this guy gives the maintenance a 2 out of 5 when the maintenance is awesome? I just submit a request and it is sure to get done the same day or next if they're extremely busy. Office staff a 1 out 5, are you kidding? Don't believe this person. They're one of the people that only post reviews when they have something negative to say. I'm here to nullify their negativity with some of my own opinions. This place has decent parking, considering it's downtown. Maintenance is terrific, construction of the building, very good, noise...my place is hardly noisy at all, grounds are kept clean on my floor and every floor I've seen, safety...I feel safe here and I have a lot of stuff in my loft, office is staff is very friendly. Sometimes the staff gets busy doing tours or resolving another tenant's issue, but they can only do so much at one particular time. I'm sure if they were helping you out, you wouldn't want them helping out another tenant at the same time! C'mon be honest with others. Don't be so extreme. Maybe this place isn't perfect, but it surely isn't a 1. Don't you realize you're wrongfully discouraging people that would really benefit from checking this place out. I'm sure if the hallways are stinky, they won't rent anyway. Let them decide and just be neutral.

I think I would believe the tenant who wrote about their experience firsthand before I would believe the employee that responded to it. What about you? Why would they even refer to the fact that they think it's someone that got kicked out of the building? What does that have to do with anything even if it's true? How would any other tenant know anything about something like that? Go see for yourself, make sure to see the trash rooms for yourself and them decide. I think there are many other reasons not to live here than just stinky trash rooms.

I agree with you. It has to be a staff member responding. They took it so personal. It's their oinion. If you have an opinion, state it. Pay your rent on time? Weird! Nobody should be that busy that they can't respond to trash in the hallway, even if you have to remove it yourself. I use to live there. Management is very slow in responding. The rent is very high and every complaint should be handled promptly. And by the way, I was never late on my rent.

I'm not a staff member, but I do take it personally. I've lived in this building for a while now, and we have a sense of community here. The fact that someone cares enough to stick up for the building should say something about the people who live in it. As for the trash issue, it comes and goes depending on who lives on your floor. There have been a few times when I've seen bags sitting in the room instead of going down the chute, but I usually chalk it up to someone new (who doesn't know how to take a where to take a bag in the basement) or maybe a cleaning lady? I did write a note one time (which pissed me off that I wrote it and not management) and that fixed it pretty quick. Overall, this is a good building, with good people in it who care. There are a few bad apples, and the rent isn't high when you consider how much space you get compared to other "lofts." Just my opinion.. and I do live here.
