centrally located, but very expensive. the kitchen appliances suck. the refridgerator will go nuclear and freeze everything on occasion, and at other times, it shuts down. the dish washer does not do a good job.
Also, the light bulbs in the fixtures blow out frequently. I bought my own lamps so I wouldn't have to use the apt's fixtures. The balcony isn't very private. Tenants have gated parking and there are a few non gated spaces for guests. Also, on-sight management is always a plus, which they have here. They will accept packages from Fedex, UPS etc. and deliver them to your door.
I would recommend this building if you are just moving to LA and need to get settled until you know where you will be working. Some of the other complaints I read here, such as the security deposit not being given back, well, good luck getting that back anywhere.
Some UCLA students live here...take that however you want.
