I've lived there three times. The management has always been efficient and helpful. There are the small handful that run the place down and management keeps it up as best they can with what they have to work with. Most of the people are quiet, busy, and honest. A few are bad apples but because it's across the street from the Celebrity Scientology, the positive influence from the Scientologists tends to bring the good out in the not so good even though they aren't learning Scientology. The Scientologists get along with almost anyone and the lost souls there need the more positive attitude. It's a busy, productive bunch of residents with a helpful bulletin board. The pool is right out everyone's window on the inside of the building cuz it's tightly surrounded by the apartments on three sides. the inside which gives it a community feel. I liked living there. I didn't study Scientology when I lived there because I couldn't study very well, but I can now so I'm going back and will be studying it. The people are great. That's why I searched and found the Shangri Lodge on this site.

Clearly this lady is a Scientologist with an agenda and is not to be taken seriously. The building is a dump---but used to have a very nice manager named Sue. The location is good with the exception that it is across the street from a huge Scientology building--where they probably know ALL about your life, your coming and goings and much more.
