Skyline Terrace Apartments

Don't Stop!!! Just move along!!!! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 10/15/2004 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004   I write this note not to bicker and complain but rather to inform ANY potential person looking for an apartment to move right along and skip this place all together! I resided at the Skyline Terrace for over a year and what I have found is paying over $1300 a month, one would have some expectations. All my reasonable expectations were never fullfilled. I expected to have a front desk staff that was polite and responsive to a tenant's requests, questions, and concerns. In addition, able to make decisions that seemed rational and logical. The only time received such expectations when I signed a 1 year lease. After I signed my lease, everything changed. The attitude of the front desk became irresponsive, antagonistic, and/or just plain rude. And if they are not negative they are at least incompetent. When I had a problem with my apt. ranging from, A/C to plumbing, the action actually taken was not timely and I had to "remind" them to do their work on my apt. Worst yet when I asked to call me back in regards to said problems, they never did and acted as if such a call back was a bother to them. In addition, they have had problems with theft and vandalism, which I suppose is expected when the garage doors are not always working. Speaking of not always working..are the elevators. Frequently at least one is not working, however there have been on occassion that 2 of the 3 have been inoperable. Regardless, the interor elevators are always damaged. So I ask you, is it worth your money to deal with rude and incompetant staff, frequent elevator problems, and having to deal with criminal activity as theft and vandalism' I hope you look at this entry as an advisable warning when looking at the Skyline Terrace. Those Entries for 9/26/04, 8/7/04, 8/4/04 were written by their staff members or a tenant who never...ever...had to deal with the staff at the skyline terrace...
