More ups than downs...

I've lived at Sycamore for about a year now and so far so good. In the first few months management went through some changes (they went through 3 managers in about a month), but now the guy that's there is doing the job fairly well. The building is not spotless, but it is pretty clean and secure. (You need a keyt to get in and out of pretty much every where -- the elevator lobby, the garage, the stairs, etc.). Everything is well lit so no funny business goes on in the gated(!) garage or stairs. Parking isn't a problem since it is assigned and residents have the facility to accomodate overnight guests' vehicles in the garage as well. Walls are thin so if someone gets rowdy from time to time you can hear them, but it's not an intolerable situation. I have never seen a roach or any creepy-crawlies, and the neighbors are for the most part friendly or reserved, but definitely not rude. Overall it's a pretty good place to live. I don't know how other Hollywood apartments are because this is the first I've rented, but every guest I've had over always comments on how big and "niiice" my place is. :-) -- Oh yeah... For the location, it's pretty affordable too! :-)
