I've been a resident for a long time, and within the past two years, the quality of this building has plummeted. The new apartment manager seems to have stopped screening the candidates that move in here, and now it is noisy all throughout the day and night--including lots of noise from the manager herself, who allows her dogs to roam freely throughout the common areas of the building, doing their business in our courtyards.

I will move from this place the first chance I get.

The top reviewer in my humble opinion is way off base. The apartment certainly has issues but it is in one of the best locations in LA. Right near upright citizen's comedy company and that entire block of 5 restaurants and a gelson's on the corner all walking distance. The parking is great. I don't have any problem with noise in the building. I am never moving out unless I buy a house.

I would say the reviewer was completely on the mark. The manager acts like its an hassle any time you ask for a normal request. The manager is hardly ever in the office so UPS / FEDex / US Mail leaves packages outside of apt. doors and they've stopped opening the office on Sundays. They use to have a policy on the size of dogs but I saw an owner with a dog clearly in the 75 - 85 lb range.
