I lived here for 14 months, and there were great things about it. The manager, Betsy, is great -- friendly, responsive, etc. I loved having my own gated parking space. I never heard my neighbors, so the sound proofing was great. But... I was on the first floor, and I got deathly ill every month for the 1st 5 months I lived there due to the high level of pollution in the alley off Bundy. Finally, I bought a $200 air filter at Sears and I never got sick again. Also, when I moved out, even though I left the unit in great condition (and Betsy even said so), the owners took the maximum deductions allowed by law from my deposit -- well over $300 -- because they could, and they never gave me receipts to prove the expenses. I had never been charged more than $100 before moving out of places, even places I had been in for years that were in worse condition. So you should know that going in. They will take all the deposit money they can. It is just how they do business.
