SO FXXKING FRUSTRATED!!!
I am a resident here for a month and a half now. They haven't assigned me a parking space, I was having a trouble with a parking space. Even though there are only handful of parking spaces, I guess many people park in the temp parking lot w/o the parking permit. Anyways, when I got home from work around 6:30pm today, I couldn't find a parking space. So I parked by wall next to the tennis court since I live the apt right next to. After two hours, I went out to park my car. There was one empty parking space left, but my car was gone. They told us that they would provide us with an assigned parking space in about 6 wks and now it's almost 8 wks. What the ------- is wrong with them' Even for the towing company, they should check whehter all the cars in the temp park zone have the parking permit or not, but they just towed my park which was so much easier than checking for a car w/o permit.
So unprofessional, rude staffs! At first, they seemed nice. But, even before I moved in, I kinda sensed how poor their management is. It was too bad I figured that out after I paid for the lease. They change the words around, they keep you waiting forever, and they even give you a bad apartment which we didn't expected. They don't tell you whatever you need to know in advance. For instance, we live on the top floor and the elavator is broke and don't know when they would fix it. I overheard a resident complainining that her parcel was delivered to the office and they got lost. I also heard that when an elderly woman went to the office to complain how poorly they manage the apartment, the management staff told her not to raise her voice. That staff is fxxxing bxxxh. If she was raised from respective parents and learned how to respect elders, she probably have not acted like that. They don't even tell you that you have to wait for 6-8 wks to get an assigned parking. I found that out after I paid everything! I can't wait to get out of this apartment!!!

About the power outage... I did call the power company and our apartments wasn't the only buildings without power. So you can't blame the power outage on them but... none of the emergency lights worked so the stairwells turned into a pitch black death trap. My roommate woke me up at 4:30am to tell me the power was off. The battery back up light didn't work then so it wasn't like the batteries ran out or anything.
If you're going to pay the amount of rent we have to pay here then move somewhere nicer.

Oh and how about the electricity being out in the building for over twelve hours with no indiccation to the residents on when it would be fixed. I had at least $200 groceries in the fridge and if I knew that the power would be out for that long, I would have begged a friend to give me some space in their fridge. This building is ridiculous.

No, the power outage wasn't the fault of management. With the money we pay here, though, they could afford to bring in a full team of security to put in each darkened garage, but instead they have taken all of that away. There are power generators that people use when the power goes out, and surely they don't cost a half a million. There are any number of things that could have been done, but basically, we have to look out for ourselves. They think they can offer you a taco or a donut and that you'll forget all about what they don't do. In case of emergency, folks, you're on your own. Management is going to be nowhere to be found, and it's going to be up to us to call for city services. Don't waste your time calling after-hours phone, it doesn't work. You'll be put on hold or get disconnected. It is a joke. I hope someone files a nice big lawsuit against this place. Water leaking all over the place, unattended puddles where anyone could easily fall, exposed power boxes anyone can tamper with. WTF? What we have now is what looks like security guards from a security company who just sit at the desk. WTF is the point of having a security guard that is just going to sit on his A$$ all night while this place remains wide open, apartments are being broken into, and cars are being vandalized? I had to call the police the other night, and we watched as this security guard was just arriving to work. Thank God for LAPD. They should set up a substation here. Now that I wouldn't mind paying for. Suddenly the management has stopped posting here. Hmmm. But you best believe they are still reading this.
