I LOVE IT HERE. THE POOL IS GREAT. I HAVE HAD NO ISSUES WITH THE STAFF AND MY RENT IS LOW AND ON RENT CONTROL SO IT WON'T GO UP! HOW GREAT IS THAT. MY APT. IS CLEAN AND I DO NOT HAVE ANY ROACHES AND PROBLEMS.

Liar.
RENT CONTROL? That's unfair. Bad management.

I like how the person above thinks that they know everything. The allowed rent increases can and do change year to year; effective June 30, 2008 the maximum increase changed to 3%.

I actually know for a fact that this review was written by a member of the staff--really kind of pathetic to write bogus reviews rather than do anything to actually address the major problems that residents have at this community, which include cockroach infestations, no hot water sometimes for weeks, sometimes no water at all, drains that back up with sewage, a four-week waiting list for a permanent parking space, and an incompetent and generally uncaring office staff. Do yourself a favor and don't listen to this propagandist garbage. Maybe after the remodel is complete, and these issues have been resolved, The Chadwick will be worth the exorbitant rents that they charge here (*snort* rent control? HA!), but not now, and management has made no indication that its attitude toward the residents here will be changing any time soon.

HAHAHA What losers. Nice try at horrible propaganda. "MY APT. IS CLEAN AND I DO NOT HAVE ANY ROACHES AND PROBLEMS." So self-incriminating. I HAD SO MANY ROACHES. During Power outages, I was afraid that I would get raped after work. It was so ridiculously dark and they expected us to park and walk through.
I wanted to die from a 1 week of cold showers... and sometimes, they didn't provide water... this means I had to relieve myself by driving out to the nearest fast-food chain. We pay for every single utility... water too .. And then they had the nerve to charge us for around 100 dollars one month for "water fees" after not providing us running water or even hot water. Management is SO SHADY!

I am a previous resident. Having lived at The Chadwick since April 2007, the promised new carpet never appeared, the murphy bed was never removed and despite professional help the roaches ruled! Furthermore having been gone for well over two months I am still awaiting my security deposit back. When I spoke to ------- for about the seventh time she said she was not going to listen to me anymore and gave me the number of FPI management - they are the big bosses as there are no competent staff available at The Chadwick. I will be taking legal action as of this Friday - normally this is not necessary, - perhaps they are having financial problems???? If you're interested the FPI ----------------- 5300 and the President's name -------------------.
