The Flat

Do not move here From: calibur2 Date posted: 5/26/2008 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008   This place has changed since the past 2 years. The Flat's owner is out to make money and created his bullcrap restaurant Blue Velvet which is overpriced and tastes horrible. Blue Velvet plays ridiculously loud club music every night and on the weekends. Ravers and drunk idiots make so much noise. The bass will shake your room and on Sundays they play electronic music from 11AM till 11PM.. try to relax to that. The management constantly lies to its tenants promising a bunch of things and never follows through. All the positive incentives of moving in are basically all gone now.. 2 years ago rent was really cheap $1050 or so.. now it is hiked up to $1300 to $1400. The parking is horrible with idiots always parking in the non parking spots. There have been many times where the building have no hot water. The back elevator doesn't stop on the 4th floor and it has been like this for the past year and management doesn't do anything to fix it. The apartment fills up with this pink fiber dust where I have no idea where it comes from. It is everywhere even in the bathroom.
