The Lofts at the Security Building

ALL AROUND BAD From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 11/1/2006 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006   I concur with what all of the other reviewers have already posted on this site. I would also add the following: the Lofts at the Security Building have been a major let down. The units are incredibly noisy. There is no sound insulation from the buses constantly driving by on the streets below, the loud music which pumps out from the bar/club on the corner of 5th and Spring at night, or the lunatic howls of the drug addicts and other unfortunate souls who roam the perimeter of the building 24/7. I often go for days without a decent night's sleep. Management here has proven itself the archetype of incompetence, with the security staff following closely in tow. Non-residents come and go through the building at will. Appliances are cheap and prone to dysfunction, and the maintenance staff take forever to fix anything. The air conditioning unit in my apartment was not working from the time I moved in in August, until about a week ago, despite several [written] requests that it be fixed. I will be moving out as soon as my lease is up. I do not recommend the Security Building to anyone.
