I stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for a year. I am glad to be moving out. The good part is that we didn't have too big of a roach problem. But the remaining things about this building made it a nightmare to stay. The laundry facility is pathetic with the washer and dryer breaking down frequently. The security is questionable - I have seen ragpickers enter through the garage door when someone opens it to get their car out/in. The neighbors on Orchard St., with who this building shares a fence, are extremely noisy. Very often they play loud music over Saturdays and Sundays well into the night. On one such occasion I had to call DPS at 4am because they just wouldn't stop their music! The refrigerator and air-conditioners provided in the apartment are old. The manager was a pain at first, but later became tolerable. The plumbing is terrible. The apartment (not ours) above our allocated car park had a leak in their kitchen. As a result our car bore the brunt of some questionable water dripping on it. From what I understand, many other tenants have had similar experiences with their plumbing. The problem is that the apartment manager is responsible for fixing everything! Although he tries his best, he doesn't appear to be a trained plumber or electrician, and as a result, the end work is shoddy. I don't know who to blame for this - the owners or the manager. Each problem needs multiple visits by the manager to fix it. As a result, he frequently snaps when we ask him to help us fix something.

All in all, please don't get carried away from the external look, which I admit may look enticing. You will regret it and end up paying a lot for something that is not worth it!
