It was supposed to be a haven...

A haven for crooks that is...
My husband and I moved here just this October and we were really excited about the amenities and the apartment being fairly new. Three weeks into our stay and we got burglarized! I came home from work with my door unlocked and my place a mess. The person came through our loft window and slid out our front door! We later found out from neighbors that this was a constant problem and that we were not the only ones who have been hit by this crime spree. We were the 12th in our very bldg! That day alone two other units were broken into.
Management apologized for what happened and let us break our lease but they didn't inform us of the crime spree constantly occurring in the complex. Safety was one of our concerns when we moved in and we asked about break-ins and they said they only had one incident and that it was more of a domestic dispute than anything else. They outright lied to us!
Ants are a problem. They are everywhere! The courtesy patrol, don't have courtesy at all. They are rude and lazy. Plus it's such a hassle for my guests to visit us when they go through the guards at the gate but it was never a problem for the burglar to get in and out.
The amenities are great, the gym is big and the pool is wonderful - which makes us all the more depressed because of what happened. The apartments are well maintained and the grounds too. The complex is physically perfect but beware of the gangs that hang around the parking lots. They obviously don't even live there. They play loud music and hang around at night. LAPD have already been here a couple of times just to disperse them but it doesn't really work.
Talk about guest parking. Don't be fooled, it looks a lot during the daytime but when 5 p.m. hits, all of the parking spaces for guests are used by tenants who don't want to pay extra for their parking. My guests always have a hard time finding parking when they come and visit.
It's just too bad that this place turned out the way it did. For the price that we pay to feel at home and feel safe - not even worth it.

Ditto. I called security regarding unwarranted entry into my apartment by maintenance, and their response was "What do you want me to do about it?" Leads one to believe that these are potential inside jobs due to the number of break-ins for a seemingly secure property. Defintely not worth the money.

A horrible place, and so far I cannot evenget a response from the corporate headquarters in San Francisco. Visit this one, and take a look around while considering all things. I have no idea whether any inside stuff is going on, but I know it does not feel safe in my opinion and another incident happened to my relative who is moving/running from there. A sad waste of a physical nice looking property
