I moved in 12/05 on a 1yr lease and I am ready to go! Can't wait for the lease to expire.

The complex is eye candy. As far as living, hope you have ear plugs. The entire complex echoes (especially in the hallways) and if you rent there, don't pick an apt across from the trash chute. Tenants go in and out of the trash chute room all night and day so you will hear the door slam and trash going down the chute especially when you are trying to sleep. You will hear noise from the parking lot if your apt is near it and traffic noise from Centinela Ave if you apt is close enough. Also the walls are very thin so you will hear everything, I mean everything!

A current issue that I am having is the neighbors below me. Yes, I said the neighbors below me can you believe it. They play loud hip hop music all day and night and the bass travels up through my apt. That's how thin the walls are. I have complained to courtesy patrol serveral times but the problem does not get resolved. The tenants don't care. So then I complained to the mananger but I feel like I have to hastle management to address the situation. I am having a horrible experience. Oh, and yes I am --------American so I am not being prejudice when I talk about the thugs, gangs and hip hop music. It is what it is. I'm being real. I want people to know about this complex. If I would have known about this site I would not have moved here after reading the reviews. Now that I have read most of the reviews I am amazed of how much I relate to those who don't recommend living here. They all are telling the truth-TRUST ME! If I was not serious about telling the truth I would not be writing this review at 1:30am.

There is a serious ant problem and you don't have to leave any food out or be a neatfreak, they just come. The gates are garbage, either they get stuck or just don't open properly.

The Central air/heat is noisey. It sound like a motor and you can hear the central air/heat systems from other tenants apts if they are above or below you.

Parking is bad for visitors. Visitor parking looks like there are plenty of spaces but tenants who have more than 1 car tend to use them up. All you have to do is view Centinela ave. in the evening and see how many visitors are parking on the street instead of the visitor parking spaces where they should be. Tenant parking is satisfactory with good spacing between cars.

I have to say that I was fooled on my initial impression. The way they advertise and how the complex looks, you think that you have found the ultimate luxury apt. I have seen thugs and gang-bangers in the complex so I am extremely cautious. The leasing staff is not the best. Through my experience they were a little rude and unprofessional when it came to my needs and/or complaints. I had to remind them that I pay $1459 per month for rent to get some respect. But the complex is gated with security and it has a gym, pool, jacuzzi, cabannas. Don't let the "luxury" of the complex outweigh how you are going to be actually living if you are thinking about moving there. For the price of the rent it's not worth it. I pay $1459 month (on time) and can afford it, but I don't plan on renewing my lease. Good luck!
