After living in Villa Azure 3 years ago, I realized they had this site and had to let people know. After living in this "safe" complex for 5 months, I was attacked in the elevator with a knife. The man placed a bag over my head. I fought him off, but he would have raped me or killed me even, if I would not have fought. I ended up throwing my keys in an effort to get out of the elevator, and he stole my car.

Just be careful. I know they have a security gate and you have to go through them in order for a guest to get in, but obviously they are not that great. Very shady.

Just be careful, the places looks safe, I was fooled

I just had a frightening experience with a relative living there. It is true and anyone thinking of moving there should do a tour and see what kind of people may or may not be around. Terrible experience

tell me about it. I lived here from august 2002 to may 2004 and I was stalked by my neighbor. I was in building 2. Crazy, huh?

I lived there in 2001. I had the same experiences with the neighbors and the stalkers. It wasn't safe back then, and it was a new building. I only lived there for 6 months and I had to get out! I feared for my safety and the safety of my daughter. The pool was ALWAYS cold and there were always people there who didn't belong. The staff was horrible and they wouldn't even give back our deposit! It was so expensive when we moved in, they charged us $1,800 for a one bedroom with a $2500 security deposit! It was a total rip off! We never saw that money again! NEVER, EVER, MOVE HERE!!!! It is a terrible place. They lure you in with the scenic views, but it is just a ghetto co-op! I'm not being biased, I come from the Calio Projects in New Orleans 9th Ward, and this is comparable! RUN, in the opposite direction!
