reading all of the reviews--i can't say i disagree with any of them (good or bad).

my neighbors upstairs are noisy and rude to my roomate who goes up and confronts them. from hearing bed squeaks, bass from music and something or someone sliding across the floor constantly at all hours of the night.

parking=ridiculous. ive been on both ends of having and not having a parking pass or whatever its called. for the first few months i had to request a visitors pass and if you not there before 9 oclock- you wont be finding anything convenient. then i was able to be in the garage but i have to double park with my roomate.

ants=no need to bring a pet-- you've got yourself an ant farm already. if you spray the conga line and masses will disappear but you'll still have a small few lingering around even after then. but i really got irritated when they ended up in my bed at its worse.

i havent witnessed any crimes. or even heard about any crimes until i read these comments. i was considering renting on my own from here, but given the history mentioned in these reviews-- i think ill pass for now.

the staff has been pleasant-except for one lady who must be a asst. manager or something , she can tend to be short with you. they all can tend to be short with you, but for the most part its okay. i havent had to interact with them in regards to any problems.

their office/computer room is a mess. they never work properly, but i dont blame mgmt. for it- its residents who dont know what theyre doing on the computer and are tearing up stuff for everyone else. i was thoroughly relieved about finally getting my internet up.

the presence of students is abundant because this location as well as our neighbor, the heights, serves as housing for students who attend a college in santa monica.

ive havent used the pool, gym or washing facilities yet but the pool and gym seem great. washing facilities-- expensive so ive heard. i'm good with going to the cleaners down the street for 1.75 a piece

i do like this facility overall though, with its location and aesthetics. thats really all its good for if you're a working individual and like to go out in los angeles and what not.

Ok, I know this place has got to be bad if I don't even like the good reviews. :-) 5 negatives with elaborations, but three sort of positives mentioned with little explanation. Since you haven't used the gym or pool, they are not quite up for review, huh? Ants make strange bedfellows.
