I've just read alot of bad reviews and I have not seen anything that has been talked about...Besides the broken gate! The aprtments are nice and so are the neighbors....the people who wrote the bad reviews are really uptight and expected to be catered to like royalty....there are over 200 units so you cant expect them to run to your every need.....Overall the place is nice but overpriced...But mind you it's located in a predominately black community (La Dera) so there is alot of them who live there who are nice neighbors! If your an uptight person who's drawers are always up their ass DONT MOVE IN!

While your intentions were honorable, I can't believe you commented on Villa Azure being located in a predominantly black neighborhood and "there being a lot of THEM living there who are nice neighbors. Gosh, how righteous or racist do you sound? Are you kidding me?

It was mentioned, because many of the complaints are from people who seem to have issues living around Black people. They seem to think that if there are more than two walking together, its a gang with sinister plots. God forbid its more than two black guys, then they are drug dealers. Lots of read the reviews and you'll see what I mean. Hey, I live here and i see it with my own eyes.

The above response seems almost suspicous to an outside reader. It almost looks like 'tbeezy' (who wrote another postitive review) is replying on behalf of 'jtyl'.

My girlfriend and I are moving from DC to LA. After reading these reviews, we are scared to death of Villa Azure. Let me ask you this: you say that the people who wrote the previous negative review "expect to be catered to like royalty." That sounds to me like it was written by an EMPLOYEE. How the heck would you know anything about the writer, and how they wanted to be treated? As for the racial issue- it is clear that there is an enormous amount of tension at this place- whether the majority is black or white... who cares? Racial tension is racial tension, and we want no part of it. Thugs? Ants? Theft? It would be one thing if only one or two people wrote about these things... but there are 10's of reviews that all state the same thing. Are they ALL lying? Are they ALL just making things up? Are they ALL just angry and have nothing better to do than write bad reviews? Put it this way: even if 2% of these reviews are true, I wouldn't want to live there. Villa Azure: it sounds to me, the lowly outsider, that you might want to think about these posts just a little bit, and start considering ways to make your customers a little happier. They are after all your CUSTOMERS, the REASON you are in business. And speaking of customers, you just lost two quiet, clean, friendly, responsible, hard working, professional ones, who never miss a payment and who are just the kind of people any apartment complex would love to have. It's a shame, because the pictures are beautiful and I/we really had high hopes about living here. Thanks to all the people for sharing their opinions here.
