The Rave: Looks like eyecandy of a resort when you look at it. Nice waterfalls and pool area and a cool gym with up to date gym equipment. and location. The Rant: -Been here 4yrs, still no High Definition Reception, its March 2008. Imagine the Superbowl NOT in HD!! Its that bad. -In the beginning Amco owned Villa Azure and sold to Bre who sucks even worse. For a bunch of reasons -They have Courtesy patrol (Not Security), ppl who look like gaurds but arent anything near it. The gaurds are recycled with new ones very often for some reason. -LAPD visits way too often, you see their cars parked outside the leasing office often due to drama episodes with tenants. -The apartments are setup with an internal fire alarm system that will deafen your hearing in a heartbeat. The alarm system is integrated in the walls in each room with a port hole for the ((((Blaring Noise))) to come thru. Ceiling alarms exist too, Ive yet to hear one since ive lived here. Also, there are some dumb asses who like to run building to building setting off the "Internal Alarm system" in the middle of the night. So, for that you lose peace and sleep along with being pissed about the whole thing. Then the LAFD arrives to deactivate the system cause they are the only ones who seem to have the authority to turn the system off.. And, as soon as they do - alarms are set off again by someone in the halls. This shits happens more than often and no one seems to have a ------- idea whos doing it. LAFD visits about 10 times a month due to this studid ----... - WARNING: Its said that ppl apartments are broken into having their things stolen. Also a number of vehicles have been broken into. Its been said by many. And you would think SOMEONE sees something! Oh and they have security cameras for what purpose? -They have special contracts with this dumb ass company who monopolizes the whole place only accepting Directv as an option for Tv entertainment, and NO that does NOT come with High Definition. Cable providers arent allowed on the premise. -Water is paid with thru some unknown compant called ISTA whos too damn high. -The laundry room is on the bottom floor only, sucks for anyone who needs to wash from 2-4th floors. Oh and theres only ONE laundry room per building. Some dumbass always leaves their clothes in the washer all day as if they forgot. Not to mention CONSOLIDATED SMART SYSTEMS strikes again. They manage the Washers and dryers also. You have to use a prepaid card to use any of the machines..Not to mention the cards can only be recharged with $5, $10 or $20 bills, no $1 bills.. The machine to recharge the prepaid cards are NOT located in the laundry room. So you have to walk to the leasing office and go upstairs to the gym near the ladies restroom to make the purchase. If you lose a card, they arent free, theres a fee for that too. The wash per load load is $1.30 (30 Mins) and same for drying clothes $1.30 (45 Mins)..The washers are ------ in performance and at least one or two are broken usually. -The plumbing system hella sucks, expect constant toilet floods and clogged sinks on the constant. Flood veteran here, our whole apartment has been flooded twice. Some dumbass hanged his wet blue jeans on the ceiling fire sprinkler upstairs, ended up flooding all apartments below including ours. -Recommended READ READ READ the fine print of the lease agreement. You must purchase Apartment insurance from yet another contracted company for $18 mo. in addition to your lease payment. Not to mention when you need them as we did at once, they only pay less than 50% of your property value. If you dont understand the term, Its very chicken ----! -Recently, we came to find out that the courtesy patrolmen have been assigned to spy on all tenants vehicles parked in their assigned parking spaces to see whos car was parked with expired tags..So, now they play parking patrol threatening with notices to tow any assigned tenants vehicle that has expired registration tags in its assigned parking space..Uhh, and we came to find out they have this little nasty clause in the fine print in the lease agreement. -Outside the leasing office is a courtyard with 15minute parking. Well, they just painted the whole courtyard with red curbs for do not park under any circumstances. Now if you could see what im talking about you would agree this is rediculous. -The leasing office moves in tenants that have bad habits among other things. Trash on the floors in the hallways, broken lights, stained carpet spills. fastfood bags trashed on the floors in the halls. Its rediculous. And youd like to think ppl had some ------- sense. -Packages left at your door are stolen. Just had a $200 all-in-one printer left at the door by parcel service only to have
