Pretty Surroundings, But Didn't Feel Safe

I lived here for a little bit under a year. Fortunately for me, I had an apartment that was on a corner and didn't have neighbors on the side where my room was so it was relatively quiet for me. We did live by the stairwell however and would occasionally hear loud door bangs and people running up and down the stairs, which was kind of scary in the dead of night. The weed smoking is no joke. I caught whiffs of weed on a fairly regular basis.

The pool is nice but I rarely used it in the year I was there. On the hotter days, the pool gets way crowded with people's friends and kids so it's really not all that relaxing. They say that everyone needs a guest pass but no one really enforces that rule.

The garbage chutes are a big problem - like the pictures show, people don't like to walk the three feet into the trash chute room to properly put their trash in the chute so people who do want to be considerate have to wade through other people's trash just to get to the chute. The maintenance crew tried to keep the trash rooms clean but it didn't work.

I lived in the apartment with a loft and it was nice and airy, but the layout made it really hard to arrange your furniture. Just not the most effective use of space.

The rooms were pretty big and I did have a lot of storage space.

Finally, security. To be honest, I was always kind of scared walking from the garage to my apartment and I never walked outside alone at night. Definitely felt shady and the "security patrol" was kind of a joke because they were usually watching TV in their little station or nowhere to be found.

Not sure what I was expecting for an apartment complex that sat on the border of Inglewood - even if it did "look" classy.
