My cousins live here in Ghetto Azure ooops, i mean Villa Azure. I come to visit every year and stay here for 2 months. They have the 2 bedroom loft which is pretty big. The kitchens are standard as well as the bathrooms but ther is NEVER hot water. We live above indian people and when they cook we can smell it and we have to scream out the window and tell them to close their doors. The building in the front right corner up by the gate is allll section 8.....we call it the compton building or south central. Stay away from the pool after 8:00........we went there and there were people climbing fences and trees like friggen monkeys and drinkin 40 oz. Most of the exercise equipment doesn't work. We have one car but we have 2 spots since we have 2 bedrooms and SOMEONE ALWAYS PARKS IN OUR SPOT!!!! and the security doesn't do sh**. it has a very convinent location being that it is 5 minutes from the airport, 10 from the beach, close to all freeways, shopping and dining. Overall, as long as you stay away from the pool after 8:00 it's alright. There are some very nice people.

I've never seen monkeys in trees drinking 40oz and I've never had to smell more than charcoal lighter fluid. Still though, trash, crime, grime, noise, sec8 housing, off campus housing, weak security that's all too true.

Can't say I've ever seen the monkeys in the trees either. And the number one stink to me has always been the non stop skunk weed. As far as the cooking smells go, mostly I've wished some of the cooking smells were coming from my own kitchen. Your neighbor must not be much of a cook. I'd say the hookers and the lame so-called security is the biggest turn off. The used condoms some how rate right up there with my car getting broken into in the garage on my list of things I hate about Villa A Sewer, as we prefer to call it. I guess the over flowing trash chute rooms would be a close second. I really wouldn't call it a mixed bag. I've only met too kinds of people there, people who hate it there and can't wait to get out, and new people who haven't had enough time for the waterfall kool-aid to wear off.
