Although the location is convenient, the apartments here are way over-priced. We stayed here for one year and our overall impressions are mediocre.

Construction is very shoddy and cheap. Floors are thin and so there is a lot of noise from neighbors. The noise from the street is also loud, with traffic noise coming in even when all the windows are closed. The doors are also of light-weight and the patio door did not seal properly and let in water when raining. The bathroom and kitchen floors are charming linoleum with fake tile patterns. The kitchen equipment is also not the best, with the oven not reaching very high temperatures.

Be also prepared for lot's of fire alarms.

The management is not always competent, although the maintenance staff are good. Management gave wrong (conveniently higher!) figures for extending our rent; has still not returned our deposit after 4 months; and they always charge cleaning fees even after we got a full sign-off with a clean bill of health. Often, you would have to stop by the office two or more times for them to actually process your requests or enquiries.
