Best apt. complex in LA from a NYC transplant....

My husband and I just moved into the Villas at Park LaBrea after visiting MANY, MANY apartment buildings and complexes, as well as single family homes all over LA. We both are quite happy with our experience as of recent. It is very safe, parking is smooth, our apartment was in mint condition upon moving in- I didnt even need to have my personal housekeeper come clean before we moved our things in. Their staff cleaned it immaculately. The entire staff has been very professional, outgoing, and very friendly to us always, even when I was in a bad mood and called the management in a huff and was quite rude (apologies) the young lady (Kristina) was VERY kind and professional making sure my needs were taken care of immediately. We've had to call maitenence 2x and both times they responded and fixed our problem within minutes! We even tried to give them a nice tip for being so fast and they wouldnt accept it. Robert, the general manager is very professinal, outgoing, friendly and very assertive- on top of everything and well aware of his community. He knows and remembers EVERYONE making you feel welcome and safe that he is well aware who belongs in our gated community and who doesnt. The rent is a bit pricey but from the other palces we looked at I guess we; like hundreds of others choose to pay a bit more to have the awesome staff, great amenities, and a beautiful, clean and safe home. We highly recommend the Villas. Ask for Krisitina if you are taking a tour. She is wonderful, always been very outgoing and assuring everything goes smoothly from move in and continuing well after. Kristina is on top of things and make us feel safe living here knowing she and Robert are more than competent to smoothly oversee and run this beautiful community.
