Have things changed for the worse between 2007 and 2009

I've been reading the reviews from 2007 until now, and it is apparent things have changed (and not for the better). Most of the reviews from 2007 paint a rosy picture of living at the Villas! Happy staff, friendly neighbors, beautiful landscaping, etc. Now the posts only mention the large rats, mold and mildew, lawsuits, pot smoking teens, crime, etc. I've read that this might have to do with a change in mgmt/ownership. I am looking for a place to live, and this is one block from my job. I currently live with my future ex-wife about 50 miles away in Fontana, and can't take the commute anymore. So it's large rats vs my future ex-wife''' Boy it's a hard decision, but I can legally kill the rats! Since I don't actually live here (yet), I am recommending it for the location and not the living conditions. I wish some current tenants would post here (not staff).
