The fact that FPI management is now giving themselves full 5 star recommendations presumably to boost their ever-falling ratings is despicable and completely illustrates both their lack of respect for the consumer-oriented integrity of this website and complete disregard for the opinions of the residents they claim to care so much about.
I am a resident here; the 30 day notice is forthcoming. I can say the same for several of my neighbors as well. The management is disgusting and treats this place like they are running a college dormitory. They outright lie to prospective tenants about internet access in the library and crime that occurs ON PREMISES.
They are rude, in particular ----------------- who scowls at anyone who isn't a prospective tenant. They refuse to provide paint for touch-ups--despite their obligation per the leasing agreement; I have even overheard her refuse to acknowledge a (former) resident's 30 day notice, saying in contempt "take it to the girl in the back, I don't want to deal with this."
When we moved in here almost one year ago, this place was simply gorgeous. Even more importantly, there was a very strong sense of community in place led by the former management; whereas now, the number one conversation topic between residents at the pool or in the library is, "how bad the management here sucks"(sic) and "Where are you moving to next month'"
Edited to add that in all the positive reviews none of the names of the management staff have been edited or deleted out in any way, yet in all the negative reviews, their names have mysteriously been replaced by dashes.
Further example: last night they issued yet another general letter(in the middle of the night)--when security should be patrolling the grounds, not running errands--to every single resident quoting articles of the lease agreement regarding trash that apparently aren't being followed by a few. Why issue this letter to every single resident' Why waste the paper (and create yet more trash) under the presumption that every resident lacks the class to care for the very place they live in' This is just yet another example of the lack of tact this management "team" has. The majority of residents here are well-educated, or at the very least, intelligent enough to earn a salary sufficient to cover the rent; We, nor anyone, do not deserve to be patronized by a management staff that acts as if it failed out of Hotel Management 101.
Anytime I come in after 1AM I always catch the guy at the front desk asleep. All the cooperation with the LAPD in the world isn't going to help, if the people you employ (the old management NEVER had any crime problems) don't care enough about their jobs to actually do what they are paid to do.
Worst.Management.Ever---these people make the Bush administration seem competent.

Dear Valued Resident,
Management would like to apologize if you have had any bad experiences with us. Our intentions at Visconti are to create a clean enviornment for both our residents and your guests, which is why general notices are sent. Courtesy Patrol is not responsible for delivering these notices at night, we have someone specifically designated to do so, so that Courtesy Patrol can assist anyone entering our Community. We apologize if all Courtesy Patrol is not familar with each Resident individually. We would be glad to provide you with touch up paint, which we have done numerous times in the past for any Resident who had come to us with this request. Please feel free to visit the office to discuss any issues or concerns you may have. We would be more than happy to address them with you. Respectfully, Visconti Management 213-977-0972 or visconti.cd@fpimgt.com |
