Overall the building is nice. It's in a bad area but what part of Downtown isn't a bad area besides a small stretch of 2nd St in J town' The biggest problem I have is a tenant directly accross from me. They look like college students that never go to school and instead party all day and all night. These kids are not shy as they try to talk anyone and everyone they can as are never without a alcoholic beverage in their hand. It seems as they are on a permanent Spring Break Party and I cannot allow my kids on our balcony due to my fear of my kids being exposed to..."exposing". They routinely have a packed balcony full of drunk teenagers and I'm afraid what my kids might see. These kids have been here for a long time and probably will be here for a long time as I don't see these kids graduating soon. They are on the 7 year plan for sure. So avoid the pool area. Parking is tandem but not a problem. The building is usually well kept. I don't know anything about the robberies but I do know they don't have a camera system for the hallways and the security guard almost never walks the hallways.
The management is very approachable. They aren't exactly quick to handle things, but at least they'll be friendly while being slow.
Overall Visconti is nice and a decent choice for your money in Downtown.
