I have been living here for a little under a year. During my stay, many residents have moved out, since this place is being converted to condos. With the conversion, of course, comes construction, maintenance work (resulting in water shut-offs), and noise. However, it's not that bad, since the work is done during business hours.

This complex is located in a busy part of the city, so be aware that there is traffic noise. On the other hand, freeways, restaurants, grocery stores, and a beautiful lake (Echo Park Lake) are all within a mile or two.

The interior is clean and the appliances are new. There is central a/c and heat, which is wonderful. The one bedroom apartment is not large, but it suites young professionals, like myself. Regarding neighbors, I don't have many right now, but when I did and one of them was playing loud music, she would ask them to reduce the volume.

The complex has underground, gated parking, as well as a call box for the front entrance. Thus, one feels safe living here. There are also cameras all over the place, which can detract from your privacy, but at the same time, probably hinders crime.

The manager is kind and personable. Maintenance work is initiated and completed within one business day. She accepts my packages whenever she is in her office. The lobby is clean and well maintained, and the laundry room is open 24 hours.

Given that I've been staying here for less than a year, I'll provide an update at a later time, probably after I move.
