This complex is located in an unsafe, noisy, and dirty area. Just drive around in the neighborhood, especially south on Alvarado St going toward 6th St, and you'll see. If you would like living on Avenida Revolucion in Tijuana, you'll feel right at home at Vista Alvarado.

And to top it all off, the manager is unprofessional and rude. Sometimes, a kind, helpful, and professional manager makes up for other deficiencies in a complex. Unfortunately, the manager's attitude magnify the problems with this complex.

Finally, here is some food for thought before you decide to move to this complex. According to www.lapdonline.org/crimemap and www.meganslaw.ca.gov, in this area, from 01/01/08 - 03/08/08 (only three months), there have been 4 homicides, 9 rapes, nearly 200 robberies, and 150 violent assaults. Moreover, there have 115 burglaries, nearly 200 auto thefts, and about 230 burglaries from vehicles. Also, there are about 100 sex offenders registered in about a 1-mile radius. The latest homicide was of a 13 year old kid who was shot to death just outside his home, only half a mile from Vista Alvarado (http://www.mercurynews.com/news/ci_8490854).
